Cardiovascular Imaging Mission
The mission of Cardiovascular Imaging training at UVa is to be at the leading edge of new technology but with an abiding interest in using new technology to understand mechanisms of heart disease, physiology, and pathophysiology.
Specific goals are:
- to provide competence in technical aspects of imaging
- to provide competence in cardiac physiology and pathophysiology
- and to develop and study innovative methods of imaging.
