Aphasia
Difficulty in understanding or producing language due to neurological damage.

Cognitive-Linguistic Impairment
Impairment in the neurological substrates of communication, e.g. problems in orientation, pragmatics, memory, attention, judgment and reasoning.

Dysarthria

Weakness or decreased control of the muscles for speech.

Fluoroscopy
A radiological procedure that records a moving image of the muscles of the mouth and throat during feeding and swallowing.

Verbal Apraxia
Disruption of motor programming for voluntary speech movements.
