Sixth Annual Evidence-Based Practice Day 

The PNSO is proud to sponsor the 6th annual Evidence-Based Practice Day symposium! Our theme this year is Nursing Innovations Improving Patient Care Outcomes, showcasing the many ways in which UVA nurses have pursued innovative, evidence-based solutions and achieved improved outcomes for their patients and work environments.

Podium presentations will be held February 9, 2010,  in the Jordan Hall Auditorium.  Poster presentations will be held both February 9th and 10th in Jordan Hall Rooms 2ABC. Save the date!


Call for Presentations

The call for presentations is extended to UVA nurses only, at this time.
Use this form to submit your abstract by November 15th, 2009.
Deadline extended to December 15th!

A panel of UVA nurses will select presentations and announce decisions by early December.

If accepted, presenters should plan to submit all presentation materials before January 15th to the PNSO Office, McKim Hall room 1055 (call 924-9357 or email PNSO@virginia.edu).

Agenda and Event Proceedings

An Agenda will be posted in mid-December 2009, once abstracts have been confirmed. Currently, anticipated topics include:
