A new Clinic for Cardiovascular Health provides comprehensive care for patients with concerns of obesity, hyperlipidemia (cholesterol disorders), early diabetes, and hypertension. Home and inpatient dialysis procedures and pediatric renal transplantation are a significant aspect of our clinical activities. We utilize an integrated approach to care in which doctors (including our colleagues in pediatric urology and pediatric surgery), nurses, social workers, nutritionists and school specialists work together to attend to the physical, emotional, social and economical needs of the child and their family. |
