Our division provides inpatient, outpatient and physician-to-physician telephone consultations for:

  • primary infectious diseases such as bacteremia (blood stream infection), pneumonia, meningitis, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
  • complicated or prolonged infections
  • infections in high-risk patients (immunocompromised,; cancer, neonates, prematurity, surgery, trauma, pulmonary, cardiac or renal disease)
  • infections in travelers, adopted children, and children from high-risk countries

Patients are seen by physician referral only.
