Try MedlinePlus

Search MedlinePlus by category, first letter, or by topic. MedlinePlus contains general medical information in English and Spanish, including an illustrated medical encyclopedia, a medical dictionary, information on prescription and nonprescription drugs, and health information from the media.

To learn more about specific procedures or conditions, take a MedlinePlus Interactive Health Tutorial (these can be printed out as easy-to-read handouts). MedlinePlus also includes links to health information in multiple languages.

Do you need to understand an illness or disease, its treatment or prevention, or simply how to pronounce its name? Would you like to find out more about an upcoming test or biopsy? Would you like a Personal Medicine List to keep track of your medications? Do you need a general overview on the latest treatments for your illness?
