- Private, sound proofed rooms separate from adult
- The only dedicated facility of its type in Central Virginia
- Approximately 50 pediatric emergencies per day
- Separate and safe dedicated waiting area
The Minor Emergency Area
Express Care
- Fast attention to minor injuries and illness
- Staffed by Nurse Practitioners, RNs & Resident MDs
- Totally devoted to those emergencies of a less serious nature, such as sore throats, fevers, sprains, and lacerations
