The University of Virginia Health Renal Services division is seeking a qualified registered dietitian for their outpatient dialysis clinic in Altavista, VA. Located between Lynchburg and Danville, VA, Altavista is a quaint town with a 15 chair outpatient dialysis facility. Qualified RDs must have one year of clinical experience post registration, strong verbal and written communication skills, a willingness to work independently as well as with a cohesive patient centered interdisciplinary team in a chronic care setting.
UVA Renal Services currently includes nine dialysis facilities throughout Central Virginia and eleven renal dietitians that meet at least quarterly offering regular opportunities education and networking.
