Directions from the North: Via US 29
Stay on US 29, which becomes Emmet Street. Follow Emmet Street, which becomes Jefferson Park Avenue, and bear left toward the University Hospital.
Directions from the South: Via US 29
Take US 29 Business exit just past the I-64 interchange. At end of ramp, turn right onto Fontaine Avenue, which becomes Jefferson Park Avenue. Bear right at traffic light toward the University Hospital.
Directions from the East: Via I-64
Take exit 118B (US 29). Take the next exit (US 29 Business.) At end of ramp, turn right onto Fontaine Avenue, which becomes Jefferson Park Avenue. Bear right at traffic light toward the University Hospital.
Directions from the West: Via I-64
Take exit 118B (US 29). Take the next exit (US 29 Business.) At end of ramp, turn right onto Fontaine Avenue, which becomes Jefferson Park Avenue. Bear right at traffic light toward the University Hospital.
Specific Parking Instructions:
From Jefferson Park Avenue, turn right at the traffic light onto Lee Street. If you are coming from Main Street, turn onto Jefferson Park Avenue, then onto Lee Street.
Patients and visitors can park in the two garages on the left side of Lee Street across from the University Hospital and Primary Care Center. If you are facing the hospital, the Primary Care Center is to the right. If you park in the first garage after turning onto Lee Street, the Primary Care Center main entrance is directly across the street. If you come into the main lobby entrance of the hospital, continue to bear to your right once inside the lobby and you will get to the Primary Care Center.
The University Hospital offers free parking and several special-needs services. Patients should bring their parking ticket to their appointment for validation. Visitors' tickets can be validated at the Hospital information desk.
Special Needs Services:
Handicap Parking and Entrances:
Located in the Patient & Visitor garages on Lee Street. Handicapped entrances you would need include the University Hospital main entrance and the Primary Care Center entrance off of Park Place.
Patient Assistance:
Main entrances are staffed with a Front Door Team to provide patients with wheelchairs and assist with other needs. Individuals will take you - walk with you to your appointment.
Oversize Vehicles:
Vehicles more than 6 feet 8 inches high are too tall to fit in the Patient & Visitor parking garages on Lee Street. Pull in front of University Hospital or the West Complex main entrance where an attendant can give you a permit and directions to alternate parking.
Patient Courtesy Shuttles:
White minivans are available for transportation to other Medical Center buildings. Please notify a member of the Front Door Team if you need transportation via shuttle.
